Easy Reader #1 is the first module of the reader training material that I have developed over 50+ years of formal teaching and informal home tutoring.  This material has been tested and honed by a grassroots teacher in real situations with real students not some ideas from non-teaching academics.

I have taken the best of all the different teaching methods from phonics to whole word reading and everything in between.  I have only kept the bits that worked and totally trashed the bits that failed the students.

What you get in Easy Reader #1 is the first 50 worksheets to print and use to train your learner reader.  These will work for you even if you have had absolutely no teacher training other than attending some schooling and can probably read a bit yourself.

A warning though, the grammer and spelling are Australian English.  Those of you who have different spelling might need to adjust some of the material but that will in no way prevent your budding reader learning to read with these modules.
